Located at 397 West Sunrise HWY in Freeport, NY the new Dickey’s location is offering $3 Pulled Pork Classic Sandwiches in-store all month long and 15% off caterings of $150 or more.

Famed Texas Chain Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Opens In New York City Suburb Freeport, NY  

*World’s largest barbecue concept set to open two ghost kitchens in Tokyo in 2021*

TOKYO (Dec. 9, 2020) – [Dickey’s Barbecue Pit](https://www.dickeys.com/) is set to bring more of its delicious, slow-smoked barbecue overseas! 

Dickey’s announced today that the company has signed an area development agreement with Sunsheng (Jason) Lin, owner of Seikou Co. LTD, to make its Japan debut in the metropolis of Tokyo. The family-owned franchise will open two ghost kitchens in spring and fall 2021, respectively.

In August, the world’s largest barbecue concept launched ghost kitchens as a new franchise opportunity. The model allows restaurants to maximize delivery coverage without the upfront investment that a traditional brick-and-mortar location requires. In addition to virtual kitchens providing lower overall costs, they also offer a fast-track to opening, with locations ready to begin serving in just six to eight weeks. 

“The opportunity to partner with Dickey’s came about by a twist of fate,” Lin said. “What was first planned this past January over dinner in Dubai, was put on pause due to Covid-19. **(Victoria, TX) **– On Friday Oct. 2, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Victoria is celebrating their one-year anniversary with a variety of slow-smoked specials and giveaways.

**KALAMAZOO (Sept. 25, 2020)** Local small-business owner and Dickey’s franchisee Krage Fox is ringing in his barbecue joint’s two-year anniversary this fall with record breaking sales.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Fox’s sales have continued to soar with August, July, and June store sales all seeing an average increase between 7 to 35% month-over-month.

The Western Michigan University alumnus and Michigan native has kept his restaurant’s doors open and continually serving the community throughout the pandemic with delivery, carry-out and online ordering. Dickey’s Barbecue Beans Arrive At Texas Aldi Grocery Stores

To date, Dickey’s has donated 7,500 sandwiches to first responders in communities the brand serves. Additionally, since July, the Texas-style barbecue brand has sold 613,600 Tribute Big Yellow Cups, raising nearly $100,000 for [The Dickey Foundation,](https://www.thedickeyfoundation.org/) which provides safety equipment such as helmets, shields, respiratory masks and overall support for local first responders.
